ARL Statistics and Salary Surveys

ARL Statistics® Logo

www.arlstatistics.org

These two annual surveys collect data on collections, materials expenditures, service activities, staffing, and salaries in ARL member libraries. This data describes and measures the value of research libraries and their contributions to research and scholarship. Libraries use the data to make evidenced-based decisions for operations, programs and services, describe their operations and budget expenditures, and demonstrate how resources are used for the benefit of the communities they serve.

ARL survey coordinators can login to the ARL Statistics website for access to their library’s Survey Dashboard that shows their library’s progress on completing the annual ARL Statistics survey and Salary Survey.
